I spent an embarrassing amount of time in the last few months porting Roger’s blog (http://informationarbitrage.com) from TypePad to Tumblr. As much as I love Tumblr, this was not an easy process. My eventual workflow was:
So I don’t want to do all the horrible things described in this post about taking an old Typepad blog and putting it on Tumblr, but I also want to do that overall end result thing. I also likely couldn’t do most of those horrible things because my vision gets blurry when I see words like “script hacks.”
So would anyone consider taking the bolus of musty crap on chrismohney.com and moving it to my tumblr for me? I will make it worth your while, not literally but in some approximate and commercially respectable way. Email me if interested. You can probably figure out how to do that because you’re smart.
“It is obvious to me, as a full-time Internet technician, that Facebook is currently in a process we call “birthing.” The site is clearly struggling and straining to extrude a giant new product. But what is it? Is it a telephone? Is it a ham radio? Is it a ham sandwich?”—Choire Sicha
