LIVE GIFFING THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE 2: TOWN HALL EDITION
Didn’t we just do this a couple days ago? Mitt Romney and Barack Obama will again clash for the title of Next President, this time in a moderated “town hall” environment just like all American towns still use to amicably resolve civil disputes among peers. And once again, a pool of official Tumblr GIF artists will take up the challenge on Gifwich to render every bob and weave in real semi-animated real “real” time. You knew of course that you can submit your own debate GIF to Gifwich, right? And as on previous outings, the “action” will be televised/chatted live by Livestream, commentated by the Election blog, and dissected over at the Guardian.
The full lineup will be released tomorrow, but to recap last week’s visuals, the top earners of audience regard were Joe Biden’s camera sense, the thematically similar “This Fucking Guy,” “It Looked Like a Bean,” Paul Ryan pumps, and the trademarked Biden Guffaw. Let’s hope this week’s field of dreams proves just as compelling!
